
Zee Entertainment Enterprises has announced a strategic partnership with Bradford License India to expand its entertainment intellectual properties into India's consumer products and licensing market. According to the press release, the collaboration will focus on building licensing programmes for Zee's content IPs across multiple categories including apparel, toys, stationery, back-to-school, publishing, gaming, gifting, FMCG, live experiences and lifestyle merchandise. The partnership aims to unlock new revenue streams while strengthening audience engagement through licensed products, retail activations, collaborations and experiential opportunities.
The partnership will focus on key content IPs including kids' content Bandbudh & Budbak, reality show Dance India Dance and fiction programme Parineeta. As reported by Bradford License India, India's licensing and consumer products industry continues to witness strong growth driven by rising fandom culture, youth consumption, digital engagement and increasing demand for locally relevant entertainment IPs. The company emphasized that India's entertainment content has created culturally relevant characters and IPs that connect deeply with audiences across generations and geographical boundaries. With a strong consumer base spanning television, digital and youth audiences, the selected IPs are expected to create opportunities for deeper brand engagement, category expansion and retail innovation.
