Yash Chemex delivered strong financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, with consolidated net profit rising 21.5% to ₹104.18 lakh compared to ₹85.80 lakh in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. According to the latest financial statements, this profit growth occurred despite facing significant revenue challenges during the quarter, demonstrating the company's ability to maintain profitability through operational efficiency improvements.
The company experienced a substantial decline in sales of 42.9% to ₹1,718.40 lakh in Q1 FY2027, down from ₹3,010.46 lakh in the same quarter of the previous financial year. However, this revenue contraction was partially offset by a 415.6% surge in other income to ₹139.53 lakh from ₹27.06 lakh year-ago, contributing substantially to the total income of ₹1,857.94 lakh. The trading segment, which constitutes the bulk of the group's activity, logged revenue of ₹1,182.68 lakh, while the manufacturing segment contributed ₹560.70 lakh.
Despite the revenue decline, Yash Chemex demonstrated improved operational efficiency with operating profit margin expanding to 7.6% from 3.5% in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. According to the financial data, profit from operations before tax increased to ₹131.21 lakh from ₹106.84 lakh, indicating better cost management and operational leverage despite the challenging revenue environment. Total expenses fell more sharply to ₹1,726.72 lakh from ₹2,930.68 lakh, allowing the company to generate higher operating profit despite lower revenue levels.
On a standalone basis, Yash Chemex reported net profit of ₹48.72 lakh against ₹29.66 lakh in Q1FY26, while standalone revenue was ₹971.42 lakh, down from ₹1,774.63 lakh. The subsidiary, Yasons Chemex Care Limited, contributed ₹55.46 lakh to the consolidated net profit after tax. The company's board approved several key administrative appointments during its August 14, 2026 meeting, including new internal and statutory auditors, with the AGM scheduled for September 30, 2026. Statutory auditors TRS & Associates issued an unmodified conclusion on both standalone and consolidated results.
