
Waaree Renewable Technologies has secured a significant contract for the execution of engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) works of a 300 MWac/420 MWp ground mount solar PV plant. According to reports from Moneycontrol, the project is scheduled for completion during the financial year 2027-28. This major contract win positions the company for substantial revenue generation in the upcoming fiscal year.
The company has demonstrated active project acquisition in recent months, including a ₹37.96 crore contract for a 10 MWac/14 MWp ground mount solar PV plant in Uttar Pradesh signed in January. As reported by Moneycontrol, this turnkey project represents the company's continued expansion in the solar EPC segment across different states.
Waaree Renewable Technologies shares closed at ₹798.35 in the previous trading session, marking a 0.54 percent increase of ₹4.25. According to Moneycontrol, the stock has experienced significant volatility, with a 24 percent decline over the past six months. The share currently trades 41.23 percent below its 52-week high of ₹1,358.50 reached on October 27, 2025, and 9.06 percent above its 52-week low of ₹732.05 recorded on April 7, 2025.
The company maintains a market capitalisation of ₹8,330.45 crore as reported by Moneycontrol. The substantial contract wins in both January and the recent 300 MW project demonstrate the company's strong positioning in the renewable energy sector and its ability to secure large-scale solar projects across different regions of India.
