Consumer durables segment stood at ₹416.71 crore, and Sunflame business posted 3.6% YoY growth to ₹65.69 crore during the quarter. Segment profitability improved across most businesses, with the consumer durables division returning to profitability with ₹14.92 crore segment result, reversing a loss of ₹7.17 crore in the corresponding period last year. Electronics delivered strong segment profit of ₹130.70 crore, while electricals posted ₹70.64 crore.
Managing Director Mithun K. Chittilappilly commented on the strong performance, stating "The business delivered a strong performance for the quarter with all segments delivering double digit growth. Despite challenges posed by the West Asia war, the company delivered robust results while sustaining healthy margins driven by inherent resilience of the business, proactive actions and a supportive summer season." He added that the company will continue to monitor the geo-political situation and take appropriate actions necessary to protect supplies and margins.
