The company's overall sales jumped 47% YoY in June 2026, with total sales reaching 590,003 units compared to 402,001 units in June 2025, as reported by Business Standard. At the segmental level, the two-wheeler segment grew by 47% YoY to 565,417 units compared to 385,698 units in the same month of the previous year. The majority of this growth was driven by domestic sales, which grew 46% during the same period, reaching 4.11 lakh unit sales. The three-wheeler segment also posted impressive growth of 51% YoY with 24,586 units as compared to 16,303 units in the previous year.
According to the latest company data, motorcycles registered a growth of 42% during June 2026 with sales of 267,096 units as against 188,774 units in June 2025. Scooters sales jumped 53% year-on-year at 247,950 units in the previous month as against 162,291 units in June 2025. The electric vehicle segment recorded multifold growth with monthly sales for June 2026 at 48,537 units compared to 14,400 in the previous year, demonstrating strong momentum in the electric mobility segment.
According to the company's exchange filing reported by Business Standard, TVS Motor Company registered its highest ever quarterly sales of 16.31 lakh units during the first quarter of FY 2026-27, representing a 27% increase from 12.77 lakh units sold in Q1 FY 2025-26. The two-wheeler segment registered a growth of 27% with sales of 15.64 lakh units in the first quarter of FY 2026-27 as against 12.32 lakh units in the first quarter of FY 2025-26. The three-wheeler segment registered a growth of 48% with sales of 67,000 units compared to 0.45 lakh units in the previous year. Total international business registered a growth of 33% with sales of 4.68 lakh units in Q1FY27 as against 3.52 lakh units in the corresponding quarter last fiscal.
