Tiger Logistics India shares demonstrated remarkable resilience on Tuesday, February 24, trading in green despite broader market weakness. According to reports from Live Mint and Samco Trading, the small-cap stock opened at ₹31.91 compared to the previous close of ₹31.87, before touching an intraday high of ₹32.24 at 10:55 am. The stock experienced initial volatility, slipping nearly 1.25% after opening but later rebounded by 2.28% from its day's low, showing strong recovery momentum. This performance stood out particularly as the Sensex tumbled over 1,260 points, touching an intraday low of 82,134, while the Nifty 50 slipped below 25,400, with selling pressure visible across sectors including IT stocks.
The positive market response followed Tiger Logistics' announcement of strategic expansion in Gujarat, as reported by Live Mint and Samco Trading. The company strengthened its Western India operations by appointing a General Manager – Gujarat Region to reinforce operational discipline and enhance customer proximity. Gujarat remains a vital hub in the solar supply chain, contributing 47% of India's module manufacturing capacity and 49% of cell production. The company's renewable vertical, TiGreen, currently handles up to 2,000 TEUs of solar container movements per month, with volume expected to increase by 40-45% over the next year. According to the company's press release, Gujarat is currently seen as the company's strongest growth market for Solar EXIM (Export-Import) operations.
According to the company statement reported by Live Mint, Tiger Logistics has existing branches in Gandhidham and Ahmedabad, positioning itself within the high-volume corridor. The company's leadership structure has been strengthened with the new appointment to ensure sharper responsiveness and tighter process control. Harpreet Singh Malhotra, CMD of Tiger Logistics, emphasized that the expansion is driven by clear market visibility and the scale at which solar clients are growing in Gujarat. The objective of the leadership addition, as stated by the company, includes reinforcing operational discipline and accelerating responsiveness across key accounts, signaling structured expansion rather than just geographical presence.
As reported by Live Mint and Samco Trading, Tiger Logistics shares have faced significant pressure in recent periods, falling 5% in the past five sessions and 38% over six months. The stock has also declined 37% since its listing in September 2025. Year-to-date performance shows a 12% drop since the beginning of 2026. The stock hit a 52-week high of ₹56.69 on its listing day (September 18, 2025) and a 52-week low of ₹28.61 on January 23, 2026. Despite the broader market weakness, the stock's ability to hold steady and rebound from losses demonstrates selective recovery driven by company-specific developments, particularly the strategic Gujarat expansion announcement.
