
Texmaco Rail & Engineering has secured a significant contract worth ₹253.28 crore from JSW (South) Rail Logistics for manufacturing and supplying railway equipment. According to the latest disclosure, the company received a letter of intent (LoI) for the manufacture and supply of BFNSM1 rakes along with BVCM wagons. The contract, awarded through a Letter of Intent, is valued inclusive of taxes and is expected to be executed within 13.5 months from the effective date or commencement of work. The contract win comes as Texmaco Rail reported strong financial performance in Q4 FY26. As reported by Business Standard, the company achieved a 45.03% year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit to ₹57.68 crore in Q4 FY26, compared with ₹39.77 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. The company is listed and operates as part of the Adventz Group, maintaining its position as a key player in the railway and infrastructure sector.
The order details were disclosed to the exchanges under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. The filing confirmed that the order originates from a domestic entity and does not involve any related party transactions. Furthermore, there are no interests held by the promoter, promoter group, or group companies in the entity that awarded the contract. The contract is valued ₹253.28 crore (including taxes) and covers the manufacture and supply of BFNSM1 rakes along with BVCM wagons. This development underscores the company's continued engagement in the rail logistics sector.
