The company's consolidated net profit remained unchanged at ₹4.65 crore compared to the same quarter in the previous fiscal year. This flat profit performance contrasted sharply with the company's strong revenue growth during the same period.
As reported by Business Standard, Tera Software demonstrated robust revenue expansion with sales rising 52.32% to ₹49.87 crore in Q1 FY27, compared to ₹32.74 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year. According to the latest earnings report, the company's revenue reached ₹510.59 million compared to ₹336.82 million a year ago, showing continued strong business momentum and market demand for the company's software solutions.
According to the financial data reported by Business Standard, the company's operating profit margin (OPM) declined to 14.34% in Q1 FY27 from 22.94% in the same quarter of the previous year. Additionally, PBDT decreased to ₹6.17 crore from ₹6.45 crore year-on-year, while PBT fell to ₹5.95 crore from ₹6.34 crore in the corresponding quarter of FY26. These margin compressions suggest increased operational costs or competitive pressures despite strong top-line growth.
As per the latest earnings report, Tera Software's basic earnings per share from continuing operations was ₹3.71 compared to ₹3.72 a year ago, showing minimal change in per-share profitability. The diluted earnings per share also remained stable at ₹3.71 compared to ₹3.72 in the corresponding quarter of the previous year, indicating consistent shareholder returns despite operational challenges.
