
According to reports from Business Standard, Telge Projects has announced that its material subsidiary, Telge Global Inc., has entered into a Share Purchase Agreement to acquire 100% of the issued and outstanding ordinary share capital of Wheaton Detailing Services, Inc (WDS Inc.). The acquisition was completed for US $85,000 and was signed on August 31, 2026. The transaction marks a strategic move to strengthen Telge Projects' service capabilities in the U.S. structural engineering market, with WDS Inc. becoming a wholly owned step-down subsidiary upon completion.
As reported by Business Standard, the acquisition marks Telge Projects' strategic entry into the industrial, petrochemical and commercial structural steel markets in the U.S. This move further expands the addressable market beyond the company's existing capabilities, positioning Telge Projects to access new customer segments and participate in a broader range of structural engineering and steel detailing projects. The acquisition aims to leverage cross-selling opportunities and deepen U.S. customer relationships through the combined platform.
According to the reports, WDS Inc. is a U.S.-based company engaged in structural steel detailing and steel design services. The company's established presence and domain expertise in these sectors will enable Telge Projects to leverage its capabilities in the American market, particularly in the industrial and commercial structural steel segments. The sellers in the transaction are Andrew J. Wheaton and Patrice Wheaton, with neither party being related to the promoter or promoter group of Telge Projects.

She noted that the addition of WDS Inc. will complement existing service offerings and create opportunities to deepen relationships across the U.S. market. The acquisition provides an opportunity to deepen customer relationships, broaden the Group's service offering and leverage cross-selling opportunities across the combined platform.
The disclosure was made pursuant to Regulation 30 read with Part A of Schedule III to the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. The listed company received the intimation on August 31, 2026, with the press release issued on September 1, 2026. Telge Global Inc. aims to carry on the business of providing structural steel detailing and steel design services in the United States through this acquisition, leveraging the target company's established presence and domain expertise.
