Separately, Gopalpur Industrial Park in Odisha's Ganjam district has attracted ₹65,400 crore in investment proposals across green energy, solar manufacturing and industrial sectors. Spread across nearly 2,970 acres, the park offers both Special Economic Zone and Domestic Tariff Area facilities with supporting infrastructure including roads, power, water supply, drainage and multi-modal connectivity. The investment pipeline includes major projects such as a green ammonia plant with 0.4 million tonnes per annum capacity and a ₹10,000 crore solar ingots and wafers manufacturing facility by Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd.
The development of Gopalpur Industrial Park reflects increasing interest in industrial development along Odisha's coast, with the park emerging as a major industrial destination due to its land availability and comprehensive infrastructure. The investment pipeline, totaling more than ₹65,400 crore, could contribute significantly to manufacturing capacity, industrial activity and employment generation in the region.
