Swiggy CEO Sriharsha Majety's reported remuneration surged to ₹551.2 crore in FY26 following the exercise of employee stock options worth ₹549.3 crore. According to reports from CNBC TV18, the substantial increase in compensation was primarily driven by the taxable value of exercised ESOPs rather than traditional cash compensation.
Despite the overall remuneration increase, Majety's actual cash salary and incentive stood at just ₹1.9 crore for FY26. As reported by CNBC TV18, this modest cash component represents his salary, allowances, and performance-linked incentive, highlighting the significant impact of the ESOP exercise on his total compensation package.
The ₹549.3 crore ESOP exercise resulted in a substantial taxable value that contributed to Majety's total reported remuneration of ₹551.2 crore. According to CNBC TV18, this taxable value reflects the exercise of employee stock options during the fiscal year, demonstrating the significant impact of equity compensation on executive remuneration in the current market environment.
