
Solar Industries India Ltd. has set an ambitious revenue target of ₹14,000 crore for financial year 2027, representing a 42% growth from the previous year's figure of ₹9,838 crore. According to reports from CNBC TV18, the company expects ₹4,500 crore of this guidance to come specifically from its defence business, which demonstrated exceptional performance with 94% growth during the previous financial year, taking revenue to ₹2,634 crore. The company aims to maintain its EBITDA margins at the current level of 28% in the new financial year.
For the March quarter, Solar Industries reported exceptional financial results with net profit growing 70.2% to ₹548 crore compared to ₹322 crore in the previous year. As reported by CNBC TV18, revenue for the quarter increased by 41% year-on-year to ₹3,053 crore from ₹2,167 crore earlier. Earnings Before Interest, Tax, Depreciation and Amortisation (EBITDA) for the quarter increased by 53% on a year-on-year basis to ₹826 crore, while margins expanded by 220 basis points to 27.1% from 24.9% earlier. The latest market data shows revenue increased 3.7% year-on-year to ₹3,054 crore with EBITDA rising 16.3% to ₹593 crore.
The company is significantly expanding its international presence, with international business growing by 32% from the previous year in financial year 2026. According to CNBC TV18, Solar Industries is doubling down on this growth trajectory. Domestically, the company is expanding its manufacturing footprint with recent plants in Northern and Western India being complemented by upcoming facilities in the East and South. The defence vertical is described as maturing into a "powerful standalone platform" driving deep-tech innovation.
Solar Industries has planned a substantial capital expenditure of ₹2,050 crore for financial year 2027 to support its growth initiatives. As reported by CNBC TV18, this significant investment reflects the company's commitment to expanding its manufacturing capabilities and strengthening its market position across multiple verticals. The company's stock gained over 4% in response to this guidance, with shares trading at ₹17,360 on Friday following the earnings announcement.
