Shalibhadra Finance Limited delivered robust FY26 results with Profit After Tax (PAT) increasing 21.67% year-on-year to ₹19.48 crore. According to reports from The Economic Times, the retail-focused NBFC also achieved Assets Under Management (AUM) growth of 24.81% to ₹219.66 crore. Net Interest Income (NII) registered healthy growth of 15.03%, reaching ₹35.95 crore, reflecting continued momentum in the company's lending operations across rural and semi-urban markets. The company's Net Interest Margin stood at 18.17% during the period. Earnings Per Share (Basic) improved to ₹6.31 from ₹17.29 in the previous year, demonstrating strong profitability per share. The company is also investing in technology and automation to improve operational efficiency, strengthen risk management, and support higher volumes of smaller-ticket loans, with AI-driven initiatives expected to further enhance customer acquisition and productivity.
The company has unveiled an ambitious roadmap targeting ₹500 crore in AUM by FY29, representing a 127% expansion from current levels. As reported by The Economic Times, this growth will be fueled by new products including Micro Loan Against Property (Micro LAP) for loans below ₹5 lakh, home loans, property loans, tractor loans, and salaried personal loans. The company plans to expand its branch network from current 61 branches to 70 by 2026, with a longer-term goal of reaching 100 branches over the next three years. A major growth driver will be the company's entry into the Micro Loan Against Property (Micro LAP) segment, particularly loans below ₹5 lakh, as the segment remains relatively underpenetrated by larger lenders and aligns closely with Shalibhadra Finance's asset-backed lending approach. The company is entering Karnataka and Goa while evaluating further expansion into Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.
With a net worth of approximately ₹172 crore, Shalibhadra Finance believes its balance sheet is well equipped to support future expansion. According to reports from The Economic Times, management indicated that future expansion can be funded largely through debt instruments such as term loans and non-convertible debentures (NCDs), reducing the immediate need for equity dilution. The company maintains strong asset quality with Gross Non-Performing Assets (GNPA) at 2.94% and Net Non-Performing Assets (NNPA) at 1.17%. The company has issued listed debentures of ₹1,950 lakh on April 15, 2026, carrying an interest rate of 12% per annum, as confirmed by Managing Director Vatsal Doshi in a filing to the exchanges. The balance sheet as of March 31, 2026, shows total assets of ₹23,223 lakh, compared to ₹19,535 lakh in the previous year, with equity share capital increasing to ₹3,089 lakh from ₹772 lakh, reflecting the bonus issue.
The Board of Directors has recommended a dividend of 5%, equivalent to ₹0.50 per equity share of face value ₹10 each, for FY26. This dividend will be payable on the increased share capital resulting from the Bonus Issue in June 2025, subject to shareholder approval at the ensuing Annual General Meeting. The Board approved the audited standalone financial results at its meeting held on May 28, 2026, with statutory auditors Vora & Associates issuing an unmodified opinion on the results. Historical stock returns show positive momentum with 13.56% gains in one day and 14.11% over five days, indicating strong market confidence in the company's growth strategy. As the company scales its footprint and lending portfolio, it aims to balance growth with strong governance, healthy asset quality, and long-term value creation.
