
Schaeffler India delivered robust financial results for the June quarter, with consolidated profit after tax rising 13.5% year-on-year to ₹325.8 crore compared with ₹287.1 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. According to reports from CNBC TV18 and Business Standard, the automotive and industrial components maker also posted double-digit revenue growth of 17.3% to ₹2,760.6 crore, up from ₹2,352.6 crore a year earlier. Total income increased to ₹2,797.3 crore from ₹2,395.6 crore in the same period last year. The company's standalone net profit for Q1FY27 reached ₹3,367.3 million, representing a 13.6% increase from ₹2,962.3 million in the previous year, while standalone revenue from operations grew 17.5% to ₹26,814.1 million from ₹22,821.0 million in Q1FY26. For the half-year period ended June 30, 2026, standalone net profit stood at ₹6,564.4 million with revenue from operations at ₹51,883.7 million, showing continued growth trajectory.
While the company achieved strong top-line growth, operating margins faced some pressure during the quarter. As reported by CNBC TV18 and Business Standard, EBITDA grew 16% year-on-year to ₹499 crore, compared with ₹430 crore in the year-ago quarter. However, EBITDA margin edged lower to 18.1% from 18.3% a year earlier, reflecting the impact of cost pressures from geopolitical developments. Total expenses during the quarter rose 17.4% to ₹2,354 crore, compared with ₹2,004.3 crore in the same period last year. The latest results show EBITDA margin narrowed slightly to 18.1% from 18.28% in the corresponding quarter of the previous year, with EBITDA rising to ₹4.99 billion from ₹4.3 billion year-on-year. Profit Before Tax (PBT) before exceptional items for Q2 FY26 stood at ₹4,525 million, higher by 13.7% YoY, with PBT margin recorded at 16.9% compared to 17.4% in Q2 FY25 and 17.0% in Q1 FY26. For the half-year period, PBT before exceptional items reached ₹8,782 million, up 16.5% year-on-year, with PBT margin at 16.9% compared to 17.2% in the previous year.
The company also demonstrated strong sequential performance with consolidated PAT increasing 3.1% from ₹316.1 crore to ₹325.8 crore compared with the March quarter. According to CNBC TV18, revenue from operations rose 6.8% sequentially to ₹2,760.6 crore from ₹2,585.6 crore in the March quarter, while total income increased to ₹2,797.3 crore from ₹2,628 crore. This sequential growth demonstrates the company's sustained business momentum across quarters. For the half-year period ended June 30, 2026, standalone net profit stood at ₹6,564.4 million with revenue from operations at ₹51,883.7 million, showing continued growth trajectory. Total comprehensive income stood at ₹3,262.1 million for Q2 FY26, up 14.3% YoY from ₹2,853.2 million in Q2 FY25, while Earnings Per Share (basic and diluted) increased to ₹21.5 from ₹19.0 in the prior year quarter, reflecting improved profitability per share.

Vehicle Lifetime Solutions contributed ₹4,126.0 million in Q2 FY26, growing 10.3% YoY from ₹3,740.3 million in Q2 FY25 and 8.7% QoQ from ₹3,796.5 million in Q1 FY26. Bearings & Industrial Solutions combined segment revenue reached ₹9,429.1 million in Q2 FY26, up 5.0% YoY compared to ₹8,978.2 million in Q2 FY25 and 6.6% QoQ compared to ₹8,848.5 million in Q1 FY26. Intercompany Exports & Others delivered ₹4,647.6 million in revenue during Q2 FY26, registering a 23.8% YoY growth over ₹3,753.1 million in Q2 FY25 and 12.5% QoQ growth over ₹4,133.0 million in Q1 FY26.
Schaeffler India achieved a significant regulatory milestone earlier this month by becoming the first company in the Indian bearings industry to secure a Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) licence for Cylindrical Roller Bearings (CRB) under the new Indian standard. According to CNBC TV18, the company's manufacturing facilities at Maneja and Savli in Gujarat received the BIS licence for cylindrical roller bearings, marking a milestone for the country's industrial and automotive manufacturing ecosystem. Both plants have also been awarded BIS certification for Deep Groove Ball Bearings (DGBB).
