
Saatvik Green Energy shares surged as much as 4% to touch an intraday high of ₹435 apiece on Thursday, September 3, following the announcement of a significant new order. According to market reports, the stock was trading at ₹422.65 on the National Stock Exchange at 2:34 PM, representing a 1.29% gain for the day. Over the past month, the stock has declined 3%, while it has gained 23% in the past six months and 12% from the beginning of the year. The company's total market capitalisation stood at ₹5,370.19 crore as of September 3, 2026.
The company's material subsidiary Saatvik Solar Industries received and accepted an order worth ₹297.5 crore from two independent power producers or EPC players for the supply of solar photovoltaic (PV) modules. As reported by market sources, this domestic order is expected to be completed by March 2027. The contracts are described as domestic commercial orders and are scheduled to be executed by March 2027. According to the company's exchange filing, Saatvik Green Energy's promoters, promoter group and group companies don't have any interest in the entities that awarded the orders, and the contracts don't qualify as related-party transactions. The orders were received and accepted by Saatvik Solar Industries Private Ltd., with the company not disclosing the names of the customers, describing them as two 'renowned' independent power producers and EPC players.
According to reports from market sources, Saatvik Green Energy's confirmed order book stood at 6.35 GW as of June 30, 2026, equivalent to approximately 132% of installed module capacity. In August, subsidiary Saatvik Solar Industries had signed an initial pact with the Industrial Promotion and Investment Corporation of Odisha (IPICOL) for setting up a 3.6 GW solar cell manufacturing facility at Gopalpur, in Odisha. The company plans to focus on manufacturing scale-up, order execution, portfolio diversification and deeper value chain integration in the remainder of FY27.
According to market reports, Saatvik Green Energy had posted a 95.45% decline in consolidated net profit to ₹5.3 crore in Q1, impacted by weak revenues. The company had posted a net profit of ₹116.6 crore in the same quarter a year ago. Its revenue from operations had also decreased to ₹511 crore from ₹915.7 crore in the April-June period of the preceding fiscal. The company's shares had touched their one-year high of ₹567 apiece on October 10, 2025, while their 52-week low of ₹328 was hit on March 9, 2026.
