
RITES Limited shares were trading higher on Tuesday, May 19, rising 2.55% to their intraday high of ₹212.49 apiece as investors awaited the company's March quarter earnings release. According to reports from The Economic Times, at 11:07 AM, RITES shares were trading at ₹212.1 on the National Stock Exchange, gaining 2.36%. The stock has experienced volatility over recent periods, with over a month's time losing 3% and tumbling 15% in the last six months. From the beginning of the year, RITES shares have fallen 13%, with the company maintaining a market capitalisation of ₹10,174.86 crore. The stock had touched its one-year high of ₹316 on June 5, 2025, while its 52-week low of ₹175 was hit on March 30, 2026.
RITES secured several significant project contracts in recent months that boosted investor confidence ahead of earnings. On April 8, the company received an amendment to its Letter of Award from National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) for railway siding construction at Sankerjang (Phase I) for Utkal-D coal mines. The contract value was enhanced from ₹79.73 crore to ₹118.89 crore excluding GST. Additionally, on March 21, RITES received a Letter of Acceptance from Research Designs and Standards Organisation (RDSO) for a comprehensive maintenance contract worth ₹105.69 crore for dedicated test track maintenance between Gudha and Thathana Mithri stations in Jodhpur division. The contract is expected to be executed over 60 months.
According to reports from The Economic Times, RITES reported a 2% year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit to ₹102 crore in Q4 FY26, compared to ₹100 crore in the corresponding period last year. The company's revenue from operations surged 6% YoY to ₹609 crore during the quarter, up from ₹576 crore in Q3 FY25. At the operational level, EBITDA stood at ₹143 crore, up 21% YoY from ₹118 crore, with EBITDA margin expanding to 23.44% in Q4 FY26, as against 20.49% in Q4 FY25. The company also declared a third interim dividend of ₹1.9 per share, representing 19% of the company's paid-up share capital for FY 2025-26.
As reported by The Economic Times, RITES secured several significant contracts in March 2026. On March 7, the company received a work order worth ₹45.19 crore from the Public Works (Roads) Directorate, Government of West Bengal for consultancy services for a four-lane extra-dosed bridge over the Muriganga River connecting Kachuberia (Sagar Island) with Kakdwip. The contract is to be executed over 48 months. Additionally, on March 6, RITES received revised estimates from South Western Railway for the railway electrification project covering the Mysuru–Hassan–Mangaluru section, with the revised project cost estimated at ₹729.28 crore excluding GST including RITES fees.
