
According to reports from CNBC TV18 and NDTV Profit, Ramkrishna Forgings Ltd reported mixed Q3 results with net profit declining 35.4% to ₹13.5 crore from ₹20.9 crore in the same period last year. However, the company demonstrated resilience with revenue growing 2.3% year-on-year to ₹1,098.5 crore from ₹1,073.7 crore in Q3 of the previous fiscal. The quarter showed significant margin improvement as EBITDA rose 29.5% to ₹163.3 crore compared with ₹126 crore a year ago, resulting in EBITDA margin expansion to 14.9% from 11.8% in the corresponding quarter of FY25.
As reported by CNBC TV18, during Q3, Ramkrishna Forgings secured new orders worth ₹680 crore with a programme life of four years, demonstrating strong market demand. The order composition reflected the company's diversification strategy, with 66% of orders from the automotive segment and the remaining 34% from the non-automotive segment. Within the automotive segment for Q3FY26, orders included ₹406 crore from the commercial vehicle segment, ₹26 crore from the passenger vehicle segment, and ₹18 crore from the electric vehicle segment. In the non-automotive segment, Q3FY26 orders totalled ₹189 crore, with the majority coming from the oil and gas sector.
According to CNBC TV18, Managing Director Naresh Jalan highlighted the company's improved performance, stating the results were driven by strong domestic business performance and resilient global business execution. He noted that the company reported consolidated revenues of ₹1,099 crore in Q3, higher by 21% on a quarter-on-quarter basis and PBT of ₹30 crore against a loss of ₹5 crores. Jalan emphasized that while the global operating environment remains uncertain, the robust performance of domestic business has helped partially mitigate external headwinds, with the strategic emphasis on deepening domestic capabilities and diversifying the revenue base yielding tangible results.
As reported by CNBC TV18, the management expressed optimism about future prospects, with production ramp-up at the casting facility underway and aluminium forging capacity successfully commissioned. The company continues to make steady progress towards commissioning the machining facility in Mexico. Jalan noted that the outlook remains encouraging, supported by the company's increasingly diversified portfolio across auto and non-auto segments. The strategic focus on expanding domestic capabilities while diversifying revenue streams is expected to provide greater stability to the overall business profile.
According to CNBC TV18, shares of Ramkrishna Forgings Ltd ended at ₹504.40, down by ₹4.15, or 0.82%, on the BSE on January 27. The modest decline in share price came despite the company's margin expansion and strong order book performance during the quarter, reflecting mixed investor sentiment on the earnings results.
