
Apollo Hospitals delivered robust financial results for Q4 FY26, with consolidated net profit surging 33% year-on-year to ₹551.3 crore, compared with ₹414.5 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. According to latest reports from Rediff Money, revenue from operations rose 18.1% YoY to ₹6,605.5 crore against ₹5,592.2 crore in the year-ago period. The healthcare services division showed particularly strong performance with consolidated revenue growing 17.25% to ₹3,333.7 crore during the March quarter. Kotak Institutional Equities expects the company to post 13% YoY sales growth in the hospitals segment, led by a 6% YoY increase in ARPP, aided by new bed commercialization. The firm anticipates 9% YoY growth in hospitals EBITDA with EBITDA margin declining 130 bps quarter-to-quarter to 23.5%.
The board has recommended a final dividend of 200% (₹10 per equity share) of face value ₹5 per share for FY26. Additionally, the board approved the proposal for the merger of Apollo Hospitals North Limited (wholly-owned subsidiary) into Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd, subject to the receipt of necessary statutory approvals. Apollo Health and Lifestyle also demonstrated strong growth with 24.2% revenue growth to ₹489.5 crore in the fourth quarter, while Apollo HealthCo posted 20% growth to ₹2,848.2 crore. Total expenses climbed 15.33% to ₹5,938 crore in the fourth quarter of FY26, with total income including other income reaching ₹6,649.4 crore.
Whirlpool of India reported contrasting results with consolidated net profit falling 32.7% year-on-year to ₹80.2 crore, compared with ₹119.2 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. However, as reported by Business Standard, revenue from operations showed resilience, rising 8.8% YoY to ₹2,180.8 crore against ₹2,004.7 crore in the year-ago period. Meanwhile, Metro Brands demonstrated strong growth with consolidated net profit jumping 23.5% year-on-year to ₹117.7 crore, compared with ₹95.3 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operations rose 20.3% YoY to ₹772.98 crore against ₹642.8 crore in the year-ago period.
