
According to reports from Business Standard, Magellanic Cloud's wholly owned subsidiary Provigil Surveillance has secured a significant contract from Western Railway's Ratlam Division. The company received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) valued at ₹12.13 crore for the comprehensive telecom infrastructure project, with the firm work order confirmed on August 6, 2026. This contract represents approximately 6.9% of the company's average quarterly revenue of ₹176.55 crore. The subsidiary secured a fresh order valued at ₹12,12,64,565.55 from Western Railway, as reported by latest sources. The contract involves the Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning (SITC) of advanced telecom infrastructure and CCTV surveillance systems for the upgradation and replacement of telecom passenger amenities and various station facilities across the Ratlam Division, with a defined 9-month delivery period.
As reported by Business Standard, the latest contract details reveal an enterprise-grade CCTV systems deployment alongside IP-based communication infrastructure, networking equipment, passenger information systems, routers, storage solutions and other telecom technologies aimed at enhancing passenger safety, operational efficiency and digital railway infrastructure. The project encompasses end-to-end deployment of surveillance infrastructure to enhance security and operational monitoring at key stations within the Ratlam division, with the initiative being executed in preparation for Simhastha 2028. The comprehensive technology integration includes CCTV surveillance systems, AI-enabled video analytics, face recognition capabilities, IP-MPLS networking, optical fibre connectivity, Wi-Fi infrastructure, IP telephony, telecom networking equipment, associated civil and telecom works, system integration, testing, commissioning, documentation and training of railway personnel. This represents a significant modernization effort for railway telecommunications infrastructure, with the project showcasing the scalable nature of its AI-driven surveillance software, leading to potential high-margin expansions.

The company's annual revenue grew 16.0% YoY to ₹697.88 crore in FY26, supported by a current ratio of 1.99x and positive operating cashflow of ₹143.00 crore in FY25. Recent order inflow velocity has shown mixed trends, with order inflow decelerating from ₹95.82 crore in Q1FY27 to ₹77.22 crore in Q2FY27. The company previously recorded a ₹6.25 crore railway surveillance order in July 2026, followed by ₹4.31 crore in Hubli (June 2026) and ₹3.59 crore in Bengaluru (May 2026). The current order value of ₹12.13 crore falls within the mid-range size of recent railway-related contracts, typically ranging between ₹3.44 crore and ₹12.76 crore. Additionally, the company's consolidated net profit jumped 32.1% to ₹29.49 crore on a 31.5% increase in revenue to ₹205.55 crore in Q4 FY26 over Q4 FY25, demonstrating strong financial performance.
