
Pricol shares surged 10.02% to ₹629.80 following the automotive components maker's announcement of exceptional Q4 FY26 earnings performance. According to reports from Business Standard, the stock movement reflects investor confidence in the company's robust financial results and growth trajectory.
The company reported consolidated profit after tax of ₹73.23 crore in Q4 FY26, representing a remarkable 109.53% year-on-year increase from ₹34.95 crore in Q4 FY25. As reported by Business Standard, profit after tax also showed 14.98% sequential growth from ₹63.69 crore in Q3 FY26. Profit before tax stood at ₹95.74 crore, up 81.19% YoY from ₹52.84 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
Revenue from operations increased 43.34% YoY to ₹1,077.90 crore in Q4 FY26 from ₹752.01 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, according to Business Standard reports. The company also demonstrated 5.64% sequential growth from ₹1,020.36 crore in Q3 FY26. EBITDA stood at ₹143.28 crore, up 62.27% YoY from ₹88.29 crore in Q4 FY25, with EBITDA margin improving to 13.29% from 11.74% a year ago.
According to Business Standard, total expenditure increased 40.46% YoY to ₹968.21 crore in Q4 FY26 from ₹689.31 crore in Q4 FY25. Raw material cost rose 44.01% to ₹747.49 crore from ₹519.06 crore, while employee expenses increased 20.51% to ₹123.38 crore from ₹102.38 crore. Interest cost increased 58.27% YoY to ₹8.23 crore from ₹5.20 crore, and depreciation expense rose 17.95% to ₹31.08 crore from ₹26.35 crore.
For FY26, consolidated revenue from operations rose 51.24% YoY to ₹3,963.85 crore from ₹2,620.91 crore in FY25, as reported by Business Standard. Profit after tax increased 50.15% to ₹250.80 crore from ₹167.03 crore, while profit before tax rose 46.04% to ₹330.94 crore. The company also announced a leadership transition with Vanitha Mohan stepping down as chairman after serving the company for several decades, with the board appointing Vikram Mohan as chairman and managing director. According to Business Standard, the company will continue focusing on strengthening its position as a mobility technology company under the new leadership.
