
PNC Infratech delivered impressive profitability growth in Q4FY26, with consolidated net profit rising 42.89% year-on-year to ₹107.85 crore compared with ₹75.48 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, according to latest financial results. However, the company faced revenue headwinds as total revenue from operations declined 5.11% to ₹1,616.98 crore in the quarter against ₹1,704.11 crore in the year-ago period. The profit surge demonstrates the company's ability to maintain operational efficiency despite challenging market conditions.
The road segment continued to be PNC Infratech's primary revenue driver during the March quarter, with revenue rising marginally to ₹1,256.3 crore from ₹1,242.3 crore year-on-year, as reported by exchange filings. However, segment results from the road business declined to ₹120.9 crore compared with ₹135 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, indicating some margin pressure despite stable revenue performance. This segment remains the largest contributor to the company's overall business portfolio.
The water segment demonstrated positive momentum with revenue increasing to ₹210.1 crore versus ₹201.3 crore year-ago, while segment profit improved to ₹34.1 crore from ₹31.4 crore, according to exchange filings. In contrast, the toll/annuity segment faced significant challenges with revenue falling sharply to ₹150.6 crore in Q4FY26 from ₹260.5 crore in the year-ago quarter. Segment profit from the toll business also declined to ₹86.9 crore compared with ₹155.3 crore last year, reflecting the segment's current market conditions.
For the full financial year FY26, PNC Infratech's net profit rose 2.00% to ₹831.77 crore compared with ₹815.49 crore in the previous year, demonstrating consistent profitability growth despite challenging market conditions. However, annual revenue declined significantly by 20.69% to ₹5,368.10 crore from ₹6,768.68 crore in FY25, indicating broader business headwinds. The company's operating profit margin (OPM) improved to 17.14% in Q4FY26 from 21.26% in the corresponding quarter last year, while PBDT declined 5% to ₹181.54 crore from ₹191.62 crore year-ago.
