PDS Ltd has entered into a multi-year Sourcing as a Service (SaaS) partnership with the global sourcing arm of a leading French-headquartered global supermarket to manage textile sourcing operations across five countries. The contract was signed to manage and operate the retailer's textile sourcing operations across Bangladesh, Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka and Turkey, with the partnership commencing on November 1 and scheduled to run for an extended period. The agreement represents a significant expansion of PDS's platform relationships with leading global retailers, leveraging the company's global sourcing platform and digital capabilities.
Under the partnership, PDS will oversee textile sourcing operations in Bangladesh, Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka and Turkey through a dedicated operating subsidiary. The retailer is one of the world's largest retail groups, serving millions of customers every day through an extensive network of stores across multiple countries. The company will provide end-to-end sourcing and supply chain services, supporting the retailer's textile sourcing strategy with a more agile sourcing model. This partnership leverages the capabilities built across PDS's global sourcing platform, including sustained investments in digital capabilities, technology, and operational excellence.
The partnership is expected to generate substantial revenue for PDS, with annual apparel sourcing expected to exceed $250 million in FOB value. PDS expects to manage apparel sourcing valued at over $250 million of FOB volume annually under the dedicated operating subsidiary structure. The deal is expected to handle over $250 million in annual FOB volume, leveraging PDS's global sourcing platform and digital capabilities. The agreement positions PDS to handle major sourcing requirements for one of the world's largest retail groups.
PDS Limited reported strong financial results for the quarter ended March 2026, with consolidated net profit increasing 21.71% year-on-year to ₹49.05 crore from ₹40.30 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. However, revenue from operations declined marginally by 0.19% to ₹3,519.03 crore from ₹3,525.77 crore in the year-ago period. The company maintains its position as a global fashion infrastructure platform handling over $2.2 billion of Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) with operations spanning over 90 offices in 22 countries and employing over 4,400 employees and 7,500 factory associates worldwide.
