
According to reports from The Economic Times, One Mobikwik Systems shares ended at ₹205.79 on Tuesday, representing a 26% decline from the IPO price band of ₹279 crore. The company's debut on December 18, 2024, on NSE was particularly strong, with the stock listed at ₹440 apiece, a 48% premium over the issue price. In just six sessions, the stock became a 150% multibagger, hitting a high of ₹698 on December 26, 2024, before declining 70% from its peak.
As reported by The Economic Times, Mobikwik Securities Broking Private Limited (MSBPL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of One Mobikwik, received approval from BSE to commence its stock broking business. BSE enabled MSBPL on its platform with effect from February 24, 2026. The BSE nod follows the grant of stock broking registration to MSBPL by the Securities & Exchange Board of India (Sebi) in July 2025.
According to Trendlyne data reported by The Economic Times, the company returned to profitability in the December-ended quarter with a consolidated net profit of ₹4 crore versus a net loss of ₹55 crore in the year-ago period. The total revenue grew 8% to ₹297 crore in Q3FY26 versus a topline of ₹275 crore in the year-ago period, marking its highest revenue in six quarters.
As reported by The Economic Times, Dr. Ravi Singh, Chief Research Officer at Master Capital Services, views the BSE approval as "definitely good news" that gives Mobikwik a chance to expand beyond payments and offer investing services to its existing users. However, he warns investors not to get carried away, as broking is already crowded with strong players and execution will matter a lot. Singh suggests investors avoid making fresh moves in the stock, predicting further correction towards ₹180-174 in coming days.
According to The Economic Times, incorporated in 2008, Mobikwik offers prepaid digital wallets and online payment services, enabling consumers to pay utility bills, make purchases from merchants and transfer money. The company's ₹572 crore IPO generated significant interest, with retail investors' quota booked 141 times and total subscription of 125.69 times. Executive Director, Co-founder & CFO Upasana Taku called the BSE nod a pivotal step in Mobikwik's evolution into a scaled financial services platform, focusing on serving the financial needs of Bharat and building products that genuinely improve financial inclusion.
