
Defence PSU Mishra Dhatu Nigam reported a 39% year-on-year increase in net profit for the fourth quarter of FY26, reaching ₹78 crore compared to ₹56 crore in the corresponding period last year. According to latest reports from Business Standard, the company achieved its highest-ever quarterly turnover of ₹531.17 crore, representing a 30.80% increase from ₹406.09 crore in Q4 FY25. The strong performance was driven by record quarterly turnover and higher production value, with Value of Production (VoP) standing at ₹392.19 crore, up 19.15% from ₹329.16 crore last year. Operating Profit Margin (OPM) improved to 21.84% from 22.99% in the previous year.
For the full financial year FY26, Mishra Dhatu Nigam reported its highest-ever annual turnover of ₹1,182.03 crore, marking a 12.28% increase from ₹1,052.79 crore in FY25. As reported by Business Standard, the company's Value of Production for the year rose 12.04% to ₹1,193.92 crore from ₹1,065.62 crore in the previous financial year. Annual EBITDA increased 10.69% to ₹275.59 crore against ₹248.97 crore in FY25, while Profit Before Tax rose 17.98% year-on-year to ₹184.09 crore. Profit After Tax for FY26 stood at ₹131.47 crore, marking an 18.61% increase from ₹110.84 crore reported in the previous financial year.
The board of Mishra Dhatu Nigam recommended a final dividend of ₹1.25 per equity share of face value ₹10 each for FY26, subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming Annual General Meeting. According to CNBC TV18, the company's order book position stood at ₹2,290 crore as of April 1, 2026. Shares of Mishra Dhatu Nigam Ltd ended at ₹420.65, up by ₹4.60, or 1.11% on the BSE following the results announcement.
For Q4 FY26, EBITDA increased 25% year-on-year to ₹117 crore against ₹93.3 crore, while EBITDA margin narrowed to 21% from 23%. As reported by Business Standard, Profit Before Tax (PBT) increased 38.67% to ₹107.15 crore from ₹77.22 crore. The company achieved its highest-ever quarterly turnover of ₹531.17 crore during the January-March quarter, registering a growth of 30.80% over ₹406.09 crore reported in the year-ago period. PBDT for the quarter rose 32% to ₹123.82 crore from ₹93.57 crore in Q4 FY25.
