According to reports from Business Standard, Mazda delivered impressive financial results for the quarter ended June 2026, with net profit rising 49.23% to ₹73.34 crore compared to ₹49.15 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. The company's revenue from operations surged 61.87% to ₹803.39 crore from ₹496.31 crore in Q1 FY26. As per the latest financial results, the strong top-line growth was primarily driven by the Engineering Division, which saw revenues more than double during the quarter.
As reported by Business Standard, the company's operating profit margin (OPM) improved to 9.14% in the June 2026 quarter, up from 6.51% in the same period last year. PBDT (Profit Before Depreciation and Tax) increased 46% to ₹10.75 crore, while PBT (Profit Before Tax) grew 52% to ₹9.62 crore during the quarter. The strong operational performance reflects Mazda's improved business efficiency and market positioning, with net profit growth closely tracking revenue growth at 49.23% compared to 61.87% revenue growth, indicating efficient cost management despite scale expansion.
According to the latest financial results, the Engineering Division emerged as the primary growth driver, with segment revenues increasing nearly 60% and more than doubling during the quarter. Total segment assets stood at ₹2,198.62 crore, with Engineering holding ₹1,572.17 crore and Food holding ₹626.45 crore. The substantial rise in other income to ₹35.95 crore from ₹42.73 crore was offset by higher employee benefit expenses and labor charges, reflecting the operational intensity of the growth. Finance costs remained low at ₹1.83 crore, down from ₹1.55 crore in Q1FY25, contributing to the improved bottom line.
According to Business Standard, the quarterly results demonstrate Mazda's strong operational performance and market execution capabilities. The significant growth in both revenue and profitability metrics indicates the company's successful business strategy implementation during the June 2026 quarter. The Board of Directors approved the unaudited standalone financial results at a meeting held on August 10, 2026, with the company announcing its 36th Annual General Meeting will be held on September 21, 2026, via video conferencing. The accelerated growth trajectory suggests significant uptick in order conversion or production capacity utilization, with Q1FY26 revenue alone accounting for approximately 37% of the previous year's total operational revenue.
