According to reports from Business Standard, the company's sales grew 7.86% to ₹116.83 crore in Q4 FY26, up from ₹108.32 crore in Q4 FY25. The quarterly performance showed significant improvement in profitability despite modest revenue growth.
The company demonstrated exceptional operational efficiency with EBITDA more than doubling to ₹14.43 crore during the quarter, compared to ₹7.07 crore in Q4 FY25. EBITDA margin improved significantly to 12.4% from 6.5% in the corresponding quarter last year, reflecting stronger operational efficiency and cost management. This sharp improvement in operating margins, combined with steady revenue growth, drove the company's enhanced profitability performance.
Despite the strong quarterly performance, Matrimony.com's full-year results for FY26 reflected challenges, with net profit declining 24.54% to ₹34.17 crore compared to ₹45.28 crore in the previous year. As reported by Business Standard, annual sales increased marginally by 0.91% to ₹459.99 crore from ₹455.84 crore in FY25. The company's operating profit margin (OPM) improved to 12.32% in Q4 FY26 from 6.51% in the corresponding quarter of the previous year, indicating enhanced operational efficiency.
The company's PBDT (Profit Before Depreciation and Tax) for Q4 FY26 was ₹18.33 crore, representing a 6% increase from ₹17.23 crore in Q4 FY25. According to the financial data reported by Business Standard, PBT (Profit Before Tax) rose 16% to ₹11.86 crore in the quarter. For the full year, PBDT declined 19% to ₹70.29 crore from ₹87.08 crore in the previous year, while PBT fell 25% to ₹43.30 crore from ₹57.82 crore in FY25. The improved Q4 performance demonstrates the company's focus on matchmaking and relationship services business, along with efforts to improve monetisation and optimise operating expenses.
