Mangalam Worldwide Limited (MWL), a fully integrated stainless steel manufacturer, has been officially empaneled as an approved vendor with Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC). According to the latest company announcement, MWL-Tubicore is now among the selected global companies eligible to provide tubes to ADNOC, marking a significant milestone for the stainless steel manufacturer. Managing Director Chandragupt Prakash Mangal stated that the ADNOC approval is a validation of the global standards built into the company's products, manufacturing and operations, and strengthens its credentials as a dependable partner for large and technically demanding organisations. This development represents a formal confirmation of the strategic partnership that positions MWL in ADNOC's approved supplier network.
The company delivered strong financial results in Q1 FY27, with Consolidated Revenue reaching ₹316.85 crore, reflecting a 13.4% year-on-year growth compared to ₹279.41 crore in Q1 FY26. Consolidated Profit After Tax (PAT) grew 18.7% year-on-year to ₹12.02 crore, up from ₹10.13 crore in the year-ago quarter. Adjusted EBITDA rose 50.7% year-on-year to ₹29.72 crore in Q1 FY27 from ₹19.72 crore in the corresponding prior-year period. The company also expanded its green energy footprint by commissioning a 10.4 MW captive solar project, scaling total active solar installations to 11.6 MW, up from a 1.2 MW rooftop solar base. In August 2026, the company recorded its highest-ever monthly export performance, reflecting sustained overseas demand.
Earlier this financial year, MWL had received similar approvals from global and Indian majors such as Qatar Energy, BHEL, EIL and GSFC. As reported by Business Standard, these approvals have allowed the stainless-steel manufacturer access to global oil and gas supply chains, thereby establishing a presence in India's power infrastructure and refinery-petrochemical sectors, among others. The latest ADNOC approval further strengthens MWL's global market position in the energy sector, with the company positioning itself as a key beneficiary of the reshoring and diversification of global energy supply chains. The cumulative pattern of these qualifications points to a deliberate strategy of building a client roster that is hard for competitors to replicate quickly.
Mangalam Worldwide Limited, established in 1995, operates as a fully integrated stainless-steel manufacturer with annual production capacity of around 1,90,000 tonnes across its portfolio spanning billets, ingots, hot rolled and forged bars, bright bars, and seamless pipes and tubes for critical applications. The company's operations run from scrap melting through rolling, bright bar finishing and seamless pipe and tube production across four plants at Halol, Changodar and Kapadvanj in Gujarat that together span more than 1,25,000 square metres. Supported by 11.6 MW of solar installations and a workforce of over 750, this vertical integration from melting to finished tubes enables the company to meet the traceability and quality demands of buyers like ADNOC. The operational backbone allows MWL to clear stringent quality and technical qualification bars required by major oil and gas producers.
The empanelment with ADNOC represents a significant addition to MWL's global client portfolio, positioning the company among the select few stainless steel manufacturers approved to serve major oil and gas companies. According to Business Standard, this development strengthens MWL's position in the international energy sector supply chain. The company has also received initial commercial purchase orders from ADNOC, unlocking access to multi-billion dollar Middle Eastern energy contracts and moving beyond purely domestic markets. For investors, the approval serves as a credibility and pipeline event rather than an immediate earnings driver, with value showing up over time in tenders the company can now bid for and potential orders that may follow. The stronger signal lies in the fact that this is not a one-off approval, but part of a deliberate strategy to qualify with blue-chip energy and infrastructure buyers systematically, with the company moving from a regionally focused steel manufacturer to an engineered-solutions exporter.
