According to exchange filings, Lux Industries has fixed Friday, September 18, 2026, as the record date for its final dividend of ₹2 per equity share of face value ₹2 each for the year ended March 2026. The dividend payment is subject to approval by members at the annual general meeting scheduled for September 25, 2026. Meanwhile, Vadilal Industries has set Thursday, September 3, 2026, as the record date for its dividend of ₹43 per share of ₹10 each fully paid-up capital.
According to market data, Lux Industries stock hit its 52-week high of ₹1,823.35 per share on April 24, 2026, while its 52-week low of ₹824.05 per unit was recorded on March 30, 2026. The stock settled 1.75% higher at ₹1,230.10 per share on the National Stock Exchange. Vadilal Industries shares closed at ₹7,406 apiece, down 0.07% on the NSE. The companies operate in different sectors - Lux Industries in garments and textiles, and Vadilal Industries in dairy products.
Lux Industries reported mixed results for Q1 FY27, with consolidated net profit declining 6.11% to ₹22.13 crore compared to ₹23.57 crore in the previous year. However, revenue from operations increased 0.5% to ₹603.99 crore in Q1 FY27 versus ₹600.99 crore a year back. In contrast, Vadilal Industries showed strong performance with consolidated net profit surging 99.71% to ₹106.57 crore in the June quarter of FY27 from ₹53.36 crore in the same period last fiscal year. The company's revenue from operations advanced 37.33% to ₹584.27 crore in Q1 FY27, compared to ₹425.44 crore a year back.
According to Vadilal Industries' exchange filing, the company's Register of Members and Share Transfer Books will remain closed from September 4, 2026 to September 10, 2026 (both days inclusive). Shareholders whose names appear in the books as beneficial owners as at the close of business hours on Thursday, September 3, 2026, will be entitled to receive the dividend. The company has specified that shareholders must be recorded in the books as beneficial owners on the record date to be eligible for the dividend distribution.
