LTM has announced the acquisition of Randstad's technology and consulting services business in Europe and Australia for approximately €160 million in cash, as reported by Angel One. The deal involves Randstad's subsidiaries in France, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, and Australia, and will be executed through LTM's wholly owned subsidiary, LTIMindtree UK Limited. The acquisition is expected to be completed by the third quarter of FY27, subject to customary regulatory approvals including Foreign Direct Investment and Anti-trust clearances.
The businesses being acquired have a combined revenue of €469 million (more than $500 million) in 2025, according to the investor presentation cited by Business Standard. They employ approximately 2,900 billable employees and will provide LTM with access to premier European clients including a global aircraft original equipment manufacturer, a French defence technology company, and two of the top four Australian banks. The acquisition will help LTM expand its scale in Europe and Australia in high-growth verticals including Aerospace & Defence, Automotive, Utilities, and BFS sectors. The deal brings 15+ scale accounts with more than $10M in revenue each, strengthening LTM's multi-year client relationships and providing substantial footprint in regulated, high-growth sectors.
The deal includes a five-year IT services partnership to drive AI-enabled transformation for Randstad's India global capability centre, as reported by Angel One. Additionally, a strategic talent MSP will support LTM's expanding global workforce. As per Angel One, the acquisition is part of a broader 360° partnership with Randstad, complementing regional capabilities in domain-driven digital engineering, cybersecurity and Internet of Things (IoT), supported by onshore and nearshore delivery through centres in Romania and Portugal. LTM CEO Venu Lambu stated that the acquisition aligns with their five-year strategy to build a more resilient, diversified portfolio. The partnership is designed to be value-accretive, offering LTM a regional scale advantage of $1.1B in Europe and creating cross-sell opportunities for its cloud, data, and enterprise platform capabilities.
As of May 22, 2026, at 9:16 AM, LTM share price on NSE was trading at ₹4,102.30, down by 0.66% from the previous closing price, according to Angel One. The acquisition marks a significant step in expanding LTM's global footprint and enhancing its service offerings and market presence in Europe and Australia. The deal aims to diversify LTM's portfolio and strengthen its position in regulated and high-growth verticals, augmenting its global AI-centric capabilities with local domain expertise. With an enterprise value of €160M, this move significantly scales LTM's presence in high-growth, regulated verticals like Aerospace & Defence, Automotive, and BFS sectors, with significant cross-sell and integration synergies expected to support the company's five-year growth ambition.
