Eyewear retailer Lenskart Solutions Limited informed stock exchanges on Thursday about a cyber incident affecting a sub-vendor of its Singapore-based group company. This voluntary disclosure was framed as a good governance measure to reassure stakeholders about data security and compliance practices, even though the incident pertained to a third-party vendor rather than its own systems or Indian operations. The group company has, in compliance with applicable law, notified the concerned data privacy regulator in Singapore about the incident.
