
KPI Green Energy shares surged as much as 11.3% following the company's robust Q4 FY26 results announcement, before paring gains to trade nearly 5% higher in afternoon trading. According to reports from Moneycontrol, the renewable energy company's stock was trading at ₹478.5, pushing the company's market capitalisation above ₹10,000 crore and delivering 26.2% one-year gains. The strong market response reflects investor confidence in the company's sustained growth trajectory and record-breaking financial performance.
KPI Green delivered exceptional Q4 FY26 results, marking its eighth consecutive quarter of record revenue and highest-ever year-ended performance. As reported by Moneycontrol, the company's consolidated revenue rose 40% year-on-year to ₹810 crore from ₹578 crore in the previous year quarter. EBITDA surged 80% to ₹305 crore from ₹169 crore, aided by operating leverage, better scale and cost discipline. Profit before tax climbed 54% year-on-year to ₹214 crore from ₹139 crore, while profit after tax increased 46% to ₹155 crore from ₹104 crore in Q4 FY25.
According to Moneycontrol reports, KPI Green secured a ₹979 crore sanction from Canara Bank for its 150 MW GUVNL wind IPP project in Gujarat. The financing package includes a ₹931 crore term loan and ₹48 crore bank guarantee facility, backed by 25-year power purchase agreements with GUVNL. The company's energised IPP portfolio reached 965 MWp out of a total 2.17 GWp portfolio, with capacity additions across its GUVNL solar and hybrid projects. Additionally, KPI Green received inter-state and intra-state electricity trading licences from CERC and GERC, enabling participation in pan-India power markets.
As reported by Moneycontrol, the company's strong performance was driven by sustained execution across solar, wind and hybrid renewable energy segments, alongside continued progress in strengthening long-term contracted revenue visibility through IPP projects. The results were supported by strong execution momentum in renewable energy projects, expansion of its independent power producer asset base and higher contribution from multiple business verticals. The company's ability to maintain record revenue growth for eight consecutive quarters demonstrates consistent operational excellence and strategic execution in the renewable energy sector.
