KPI Green Energy Ltd. announced on Friday, February 20, the completion of a 92.4 MW wind power project for Ayana Renewable Power Four at Nakhatrana, Bhuj in Gujarat. According to reports from CNBC TV18 and The Economic Times, the project comprises 28 wind turbine generators and the company has completed all works under its scope, including balance of plant, power substation, EHV transmission line and installation of the WTGs. This achievement underscores KPI Green Energy's capability in executing large renewable energy projects and boosts India's clean energy capacity.
The project has received the requisite CEA approval, as confirmed by KPI Green Energy. As reported by CNBC TV18 and The Economic Times, this regulatory clearance enables the project to move forward to commercial operations. Earlier this month, KPI Green Energy received orders from Adani Group companies for the execution of electrical, civil and allied work for a 300 MWac/405 MWdc project. According to CNBC TV18, this project is part of the Khavda Hybrid Renewable Power Project in Kutch, Gujarat. The orders involve electrical AC-DC works and civil works including pile foundation, installation of stubs, erection of module mounting structures, modules, robotic cleaning system structures and IDT stations.
Shares of KPI Green Energy were trading 0.7% up at ₹397.4 apiece around 11.20 am on Friday, as reported by CNBC TV18. However, the stock has declined 10.3% in the past month, indicating mixed investor sentiment despite the project completion announcement. The recent project completion is expected to provide positive momentum for the company's stock performance in the renewable energy sector.
