KCL reported a 7.34% decline in standalone net profit to ₹2.02 crore for the quarter ended June 2026, compared to ₹2.18 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. According to reports from Business Standard, the company's financial performance showed mixed results with revenue growth offsetting profit decline.
Despite the profit decline, KCL demonstrated strong revenue growth with sales rising 6.11% to ₹121.99 crore in Q1 FY27, up from ₹114.97 crore in the same quarter last year. As reported by Business Standard, this revenue expansion indicates the company's ability to maintain business growth despite the profit contraction.
The company's operating profit margin (OPM) improved to 5.77% in the June 2026 quarter compared to 6.14% in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. According to the financial data reported by Business Standard, PBDT increased 3% to ₹6.37 crore from ₹6.19 crore, while PBT grew 10% to ₹3.21 crore from ₹2.91 crore year-on-year.
