According to the latest company announcement, the fundraising may be undertaken through a combination of equity shares, preferential allotments, Qualified Institutional Placements (QIPs), convertible debentures, warrants, Foreign Currency Convertible Bonds (FCCBs) or other permitted instruments, subject to necessary statutory and regulatory approvals. The proposed capital infusion will primarily be utilized to acquire next-generation machinery, expand fleet capacity, and service growing multi-year rental contracts across India's infrastructure corridors.
Kalind shares rose 5% to ₹11.29 on July 24, hitting the upper circuit limit on BSE, which was also the record date for its 1:5 stock split and 1:2 bonus issue. According to reports from Moneycontrol, the company has announced these corporate actions, with the record date determining shareholder eligibility for both the stock split and bonus issue. Under the approved 1:5 stock split, every equity share of face value ₹10 will be subdivided into five equity shares of face value ₹2 each. In addition, shareholders will receive one bonus equity share of face value ₹2 for every two equity shares held following the stock split. The company asserted that these actions "underscore strong shareholder value creation."
Kalind Limited has successfully completed its transition from its legacy real estate business and is now focused on becoming a specialized heavy equipment leasing and fleet management company through its Kalind Infraproject and Kalind Earth Movers businesses. The company operates an asset-heavy leasing model that provides rental solutions for heavy earthmoving machinery, civil construction equipment and structural fabrication assets, enabling customers to reduce capital expenditure while improving project execution efficiency.
