Juniper Green Spark Ten Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Juniper Green Energy Limited, has successfully fully commissioned the 75 MW wind solar hybrid power project with the commissioning of the final 10 MW wind capacity at the project site on September 9, 2026. According to the company's regulatory filing, officials from the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) witnessed and confirmed the commissioning of the project, with the formal certificate expected to be issued shortly. This follows the earlier commissioning of the 59 MWp/42 MW solar component in June 2025, which was brought online around 17 months ahead of the scheduled commercial operation date.
Following the commissioning of the 75 MW capacity, the aggregate operational capacity of Juniper Green Energy Limited and its subsidiaries stands at approximately 2,604 MWp and 500 MWh BESS as of the current date. As reported in the regulatory filing, this significant capacity addition strengthens the company's renewable energy portfolio and demonstrates its continued expansion in the hybrid power sector. The project was originally commissioned through Juniper Green Power Five after signing a power purchase agreement (PPA) for 75 MW with MSEDCL on November 18, 2024.
The successful commissioning of this 75 MW wind-solar hybrid project represents a key milestone for Juniper Green Energy Limited in its renewable energy portfolio expansion. The early commissioning of the solar component entitled the firm to claim a 100% ISTS waiver for transmission charges, as the government had set a deadline of June 30, 2025 for claiming exemption from ISTS charges for projects commissioned before this deadline. The hybrid facility will include 26.4 MW of wind capacity, with the full project scheduled for completion by November 17, 2026.
