
JK Tyre & Industries delivered exceptional fourth quarter results for FY26, with consolidated net profit jumping 83.42% year-on-year to ₹178 crore compared to ₹97.04 crore in the same period last year. According to latest reports, the company's revenue from operations rose 12.37% to ₹4,223.44 crore in Q4 FY26 from ₹3,758.60 crore a year ago. EBITDA increased 69% to ₹445.91 crore from ₹263.65 crore, with EBITDA margin expanding significantly to 12.7% from 9.66% in the corresponding quarter last year. Total expenses stood at ₹3,909.65 crore during the quarter, while total income including other income reached ₹4,232.83 crore, up 12% year-on-year.
The company's India business revenue increased 14.6% to ₹3,903.25 crore in the March quarter, demonstrating robust domestic demand. As reported by The Economic Times, sales volumes grew by 21% year-on-year across segments, led by an impressive 42% growth in the OE (Original Equipment) market. The strong performance was attributed to buoyant demand supported by GST and personal tax reforms, softening of interest rates, improved economic activity, and the festive season. India remained the key contributor to segment revenue during the quarter, while exports remained resilient despite geopolitical uncertainties, including the ongoing West Asia conflict. The company's Mexico subsidiary, JK Tornel, contributed ₹377.57 crore compared with ₹449.60 crore in Q4FY25. Total segment revenue stood at ₹4,281.91 crore for the quarter.
In a significant strategic move, JK Tyre's board approved an investment of ₹4,980 crore for expansion of truck and bus radial (TBR) tyres and passenger car radial (PCR) tyres in phases. According to the company's filing reported by The Economic Times, the funding will be through internal accruals and debt. The expansion is aimed at maintaining market presence as the Indian tyre industry witnesses robust demand across categories. The company also announced a dividend recommendation of ₹4 per equity share for FY26. Chairman & Managing Director Raghupati Singhania said the company has laid a strong foundation through capacity expansion and a sharper focus on higher value-added products for domestic as well as export markets, positioning it for profitable growth in FY27 despite near-term input cost challenges.
