Dreamfolks Services reported a consolidated net loss of ₹138.31 crore for Q1 FY27, marking a dramatic reversal from the profit of ₹212.70 crore recorded in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. According to reports from Trade Brains, this represents a complete shift in the company's profitability position year-over-year. The company's consolidated loss before tax stood at ₹183.04 crore in Q1 FY27, compared to a profit before tax of ₹284.92 crore in Q1 FY26. Basic and diluted EPS stood at -₹2.57 in Q1 FY27, compared with ₹3.99 and ₹3.91 respectively in Q1 FY26.
The company's consolidated revenue from operations declined 88.8% year-over-year from ₹3,489.50 crore in Q1 FY26 to ₹390.11 crore in Q1 FY27, and declined 25.9% quarter-over-quarter from ₹526.39 crore in Q4 FY26. As reported by Trade Brains, this substantial revenue contraction contributed to the overall deterioration in the company's financial performance during the quarter. The company's employee costs increased significantly to ₹123.57 crore from ₹63.81 crore sequentially on the consolidated basis, indicating operational challenges beyond the revenue decline.
During FY26, Dreamfolks acquired a 34% stake in ETT Solutions DMCC after paying ₹123.11 million for the secondary purchase and has subsequently applied for a primary subscription, which would increase its overall holding to 60.24%. The company has also consolidated Ten11 Hospitality into its group structure from November 2025. According to Trade Brains, this strategic expansion is part of Dreamfolks' attempt to broaden its ecosystem beyond its traditional airport lounge-access model, moving toward a comprehensive travel-services platform. The company's market capitalisation currently stands at ₹355.63 crore with shares trading at ₹66.76, down 2.43% from the previous close of ₹68.42.
The company faces an IBC petition filed by Travel Food Services Limited, alleging default of approximately ₹11.4 crore and seeking initiation of CIRP. As reported by Trade Brains, Dreamfolks disputes the claim and takes legal recourse, stating it has made appropriate provisions in the financial statements. The next hearing is scheduled for August 21, 2026. Despite the current challenges, India's expanding aviation ecosystem provides long-term opportunities, with the country being the third-largest domestic aviation market globally and total passenger traffic reaching 420.09 million in FY26. The investment case now depends on whether the company's new business ventures can rebuild profitability and integrate successfully.
