The contract covers toll collection services at Kariyamangalam fee plaza located on the Tindivanam to Krishnagiri section of a two-lane highway with paved shoulders. The project operates under the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) mode under the National Highways (O) category in Tamil Nadu state. As reported by Innovision Limited, the infrastructure mandate contains no internal conflicts of interest or institutional anomalies, with the company clarifying that neither corporate promoters, promoter groups, nor any affiliated group companies hold any underlying stake in the awarding entity, NHAI. The filing also confirmed that the order is not a related-party transaction and that neither the promoter nor the promoter group has any interest in the awarding authority. The scope of work includes managing the two-lane fee plaza with paved shoulders and the upkeep of adjacent toilet blocks, including the recouping of consumable items.
According to the contract terms, Innovision's responsibilities include day-to-day vehicular toll collections and complete maintenance, upkeep, and consumable stocking of adjacent public utility blocks. The company will be responsible for maintaining the toll plaza facilities, including upkeep and maintenance of nearby toilet blocks and ensuring regular replenishment of consumable items to keep the facilities operational for highway users. The contract ensures standardized digital tolling workflows, less lane confusion, and audited roadside amenities for commercial transport operators, logistics businesses, and daily commuters traveling between Tindivanam and Krishnagiri. The company will work as the user fee collection agency at the Kariyamangalam Fee Plaza, with responsibilities extending beyond toll collection to comprehensive facility management.
Despite securing the new contract, Innovision's stock price declined 1.58% to ₹283.75 on the BSE following the announcement.
