The textile manufacturer's consolidated net profit jumped 15.02% year-on-year to ₹24.20 crore in Q4 FY26, while revenue from operations increased 3.43% to ₹1,057.67 crore compared with Q4 FY25. The company's profit before tax (PBT) also showed strong growth, increasing 18.05% YoY to ₹30.15 crore in the quarter ended March 31, 2026. The stock has now advanced by over 11.20% in the past month and maintains a 57.40% cushion above its 52-week low of ₹216.90, with trading volume surging to be over 4.1x the 20-day average.
The company demonstrated significant operational efficiency gains during the quarter. As reported by Business Standard, EBITDA climbed 21.5% to ₹116 crore in Q4 March 2026 compared with ₹96 crore in Q4 March 2025. EBITDA margin expanded 10.7% in Q4 FY26 versus 9.3% in Q4 FY25, driven by better product mix, improved fixed-cost absorption, and favorable exchange rates. Sales volume for the quarter stood at 20.5 million meters, reflecting steady operational performance.
Despite strong quarterly results, the company's full-year performance reflected challenges in the textile sector. According to Business Standard, consolidated net profit declined 49.33% to ₹126.67 crore in FY26 compared with ₹249.99 crore in FY25. Revenue from operations fell marginally by 0.24% to ₹4,141.34 crore in FY26 from ₹4,151.39 crore in FY25. The company's board recommended a final dividend of ₹1.5 per share for the financial year ended March 31, 2026.
The textile sector witnessed broad-based buying following the government's announcement of temporary customs duty exemptions. The finance ministry announced that all customs duties on cotton imports will be waived from June 1, 2026 to October 30, 2026, aimed at boosting cotton supplies for textile exporters amid strong global demand for yarn. According to the ministry, the decision is likely to benefit the overall textile industry, particularly small and medium enterprises, by ensuring better availability of cotton in the market. Market participants expect the temporary duty waiver to improve raw material availability and support margins for textile manufacturers catering to export markets.
The company has announced significant capacity expansion plans to strengthen its market position. As reported by Business Standard, the board approved a brownfield expansion project at its spinning facility in Alte, Kolhapur, Maharashtra, involving increasing existing installed capacity from 70,000 spindles to 94,000 spindles. The project, expected to cost approximately ₹60 crore, is scheduled to become operational by Q2 of FY2027. Additionally, the existing spinning mill at Gokul Shirgaon will be modernized with an outlay of around ₹25 crore to enhance operational efficiency.
