Credit rating agency ICRA has upgraded iValue Infosolutions' long-term rating to '[ICRA]A+ (Stable)' from '[ICRA]A (Stable)' and short-term rating to '[ICRA]A1+' from '[ICRA]A2+'. According to reports from Business Standard, the upgrade reflects the company's scale-up in operations over recent years as a value-added distributor of IT hardware and software products, while maintaining a healthy financial risk profile.
The company reported gross operating income (GOI) of ₹2,912.0 crore in FY2026, registering a year-on-year growth of 18.9%. As reported by Business Standard, this growth was aided by stable business profile with healthy demand for offerings across cybersecurity, data centre infrastructure, cloud and information life cycle management. The operating profit margin (OPM) remained modest at 4.7% in FY2026 compared to 5.3% in FY2025, reflecting structural characteristics of the business.
According to ICRA's assessment reported by Business Standard, the company maintains a comfortable financial risk profile with limited dependence on external debt and a negative net debt position since March 2020. The ratings are supported by limited capital expenditure requirements and steady internal accruals over the years, with debt metrics expected to remain healthy over the medium term given minimal capex plans and limited debt-servicing obligations over the next three years.
As reported by Business Standard, the company has demonstrated improved working capital management, with working capital intensity reducing to 10.8% in FY2026 from 12.6% in FY2025. However, the ratings continue to be constrained by the working capital-intensive nature of the business, low margins and moderate scale of operations compared to established IT distribution players. The company's scale remains relatively moderate despite healthy revenue growth over the last five years.
According to Business Standard, the company's scrip shed 0.89% to currently trade at ₹284.30 on the BSE following the rating announcement. iValue Infosolutions operates as a value-added distributor of IT hardware and software products, partnering with over 115 OEMs and offering more than 300 products to over 800 system integrators, serving more than 8,000 customers.
