
State-owned Hindustan Copper Ltd delivered exceptional Q4 FY26 results with net profit surging 137.3% year-on-year to ₹444.27 crore compared to ₹187.18 crore in the corresponding period last year. According to reports from ET Now and Mint, the company's consolidated revenue from operations rose 58% to ₹1,156 crore from ₹731.40 crore in Q4 FY25. On a sequential basis, profit after tax was 184% higher at ₹444.27 crore against ₹156 crore in Q3 FY26, while topline grew 68% from ₹687 crore posted in the October-December quarter.
For the full financial year FY26, Hindustan Copper reported revenue of ₹3,078 crore versus ₹2,071 crore in FY25, representing 49% growth. As reported by ET Now, PAT for FY26 stood at ₹921 crore, an increase of 97% from ₹467 crore in the previous financial year. The company's expenses increased to ₹597 crore in Q4 FY26 from ₹397 crore in Q3 FY26 and ₹519 crore in Q4 FY25, representing growth of 50% quarter-on-quarter and 15% year-on-year.
The board of Hindustan Copper recommended a final dividend of ₹1.86 per share for FY2025-26, subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming Annual General Meeting. According to the company's exchange filing reported by ET Now, this follows an interim dividend of ₹1.00 per share already paid on March 5, 2026. The company stated that the date of payment of final dividend shall be intimated after approval in the AGM separately.
The board approved proposals for fundraising up to ₹500 crore via non-convertible debentures (NCDs) on a private placement basis and raising funds via Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP) of up to 9.69 crore equity shares.
