
Hiliks Technologies shares surged 9.74% to ₹59.24 following the announcement of a significant railway contract win. The company has secured a ₹95.51 crore subcontract from KMC Constructions for railway signalling and telecommunication works in Telangana. According to the latest company disclosure, the contract was entered into on March 13, 2026, with requisite approval from South Central Railway received on June 17, 2026. The subcontract pertains to signalling and telecommunication works related to the doubling of the railway track between Akanapet Junction and Medchal stations, including the implementation of the Kavach safety system on the South-Central Railway network in Telangana. The subcontract is valued at ₹95,51,14,237/- (₹95.51 crore), taking the company's total pending order book to ₹165 crore.
The project is scheduled to be executed within 24 months from the commencement date, as reported by LiveMint. The company also clarified that neither its promoters nor any promoter-group entities have any interest in the awarding entity. It further stated that the transaction does not fall under the category of related-party transactions, ensuring regulatory compliance. The contract involves the implementation of Kavach, the Indian Railways indigenous train collision avoidance system, under South Central Railway, demonstrating the company's expertise in advanced railway safety systems.
This marks the company's second order win in June. Earlier this month, Hiliks Technologies secured a similar subcontract from Railone Projects Private Limited for signalling and telecommunication works related to the Motumari–Vishnupuram railway doubling project across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. That order, announced on June 11, was valued at ₹37.75 crore, demonstrating consistent order flow in the railway infrastructure segment.
On the financial front, the company reported strong quarterly results for Q4 FY26. The company posted a consolidated net profit of ₹0.68 crore in the quarter ended March 2026, compared with ₹0.03 crore posted in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. Revenue from operations surged significantly to ₹15.94 crore from ₹2.05 crore in Q4 FY25, as reported by Business Standard. As of June 19, 2026, the company had a market capitalization of ₹63 crore, reflecting the positive market response to the latest contract win.
According to Business Standard, Hiliks Technologies is engaged in providing information technology solutions and services, including software development, system integration, networking solutions, ERP and CRM implementation, data management, digitisation services, IT consulting, and business process outsourcing services. According to BSE shareholding data, public shareholders held nearly 95% of the company's equity as of the March 2026 quarter, as reported by LiveMint. The rally was supported by back-to-back multibagger gains in 2023 and 2024, when the stock advanced 414% and 238% respectively, demonstrating strong investor confidence in the company's railway infrastructure business model.
