Hatsun Agro Product Ltd delivered robust fourth-quarter results with net profit rising 18.32% year-on-year to ₹50.89 crore from ₹43 crore in the corresponding period last year. According to the latest regulatory filing, revenue increased 14.60% to ₹2,580.21 crore from ₹2,251.37 crore, supported by continued demand across dairy and allied product categories. The company's board declared an interim dividend of ₹10 per equity share of face value Re 1 each for FY27, marking the first interim dividend for the financial year.
While profitability grew, the company faced margin compression during the quarter. As reported by CNBC TV18, EBITDA rose 4.8% year-on-year to ₹235.3 crore from ₹224.5 crore, but EBITDA margin narrowed to 9.1% from 10% a year earlier, indicating pressure from input and operating costs. For the full 2025-26 fiscal year, Hatsun Agro demonstrated exceptional annual performance with net profit rising nearly 28% to ₹356.20 crore from ₹278.81 crore in the preceding financial year. Total income for FY26 increased significantly to ₹9,972.94 crore from ₹8,719.32 crore, reflecting the company's strong operational performance across its dairy and allied product segments. The Chennai-based company maintains its presence across multiple states including Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Puducherry, Kerala, Maharashtra, Goa, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh and Odisha.
Ahead of the earnings announcement, shares of Hatsun Agro Product closed 2.7% higher at ₹946.90 on the NSE, as reported by CNBC TV18. The positive market response reflects investor confidence in the company's ability to deliver strong revenue growth despite margin pressures, with the stock price movement indicating market optimism about the company's operational performance and future prospects. The market's response to both quarterly and annual results demonstrates investor confidence in the company's growth trajectory and financial stability.
