
GRM Overseas shares rose over 2% in intra-day trading after promoters increased their stake in the FMCG company. According to reports from Mint, the stock reached a day's high of ₹164.90 on BSE, representing a 2.2% increase. The stock is currently just 11% away from its 52-week high of ₹185.55, hit in December 2025, while maintaining strong momentum with a 150% surge from its 52-week low of ₹66.05 hit in March 2025. As per latest market data, the stock continues to show strong performance with a 147.65% gain from its 52-week low, reflecting sustained investor confidence in the company's fundamentals.
As reported by Mint, promoters Atug Garg, Mamta Garg, and Hukam Chand Garg increased their stake through conversion of warrants and allotment of bonus shares. The promoters collectively acquired an additional 1.79% stake or 37.14 lakh shares in the company through conversion of warrants and reserved bonus shares on February 10, 2025. Before the allotment, promoter group and PAC holding stood at 60.64% on a fully diluted basis, which increased to 62.43% after the allotment. The company's total equity base expanded from ₹36.81 crore (18.41 crore shares) to ₹41.44 crore (20.72 crore shares).
According to Mint reports, GRM Overseas delivered strong financial results for Q3FY26 with consolidated net profit of ₹19.3 crore, marking a 42.8% year-on-year increase. Total revenue for the quarter stood at ₹492.6 crore, up 28.9% from ₹382.2 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. EBITDA rose 34.1% YoY to ₹31.3 crore, compared with ₹23.3 crore in Q3FY25, with EBITDA margin expanding to 6.3% during the quarter.
As reported by Mint, Managing Director Atul Garg attributed the strong performance to healthy demand across domestic and international markets. The company maintains a solid foothold in global basmati rice markets despite geopolitical uncertainties. Looking ahead, Garg expressed confidence in sustaining long-term growth momentum, with exports continuing as a key growth driver and domestic focus centered on strengthening the '10X' brand through wider distribution, quality enhancement, diversification and disciplined execution. The company's strong fundamentals and consistent performance have earned it recognition as a strong performer in the food, beverages & tobacco sector, though analysts note that the stock is getting expensive at current valuations.
