As per Upstox data, the stock opened at ₹109.80 and moved in the range of ₹109.80 to ₹114.00 during the trading session, with an average price of ₹111.90 for the day. The company maintains a total market capitalisation of ₹1,440 crore as of September 18, 2026, with the stock's 52-week high standing at ₹150. Following today's rally, the company's market capitalisation climbed to around ₹1,440 crore.
GPT Infraprojects has secured a significant bridge construction project worth ₹483.72 crore from Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) Bhubaneswar. According to The Economic Times, the contract was awarded by the Chief Project Manager, RVNL, Bhubaneswar, and involves the construction of Important Bridge 544, a 32x65.84-metre open-web steel girder bridge over the Mahanadi River at Chainage 406.305 km. The bridge is part of the construction of the third and fourth railway lines between the Nergundi-Barang section in the Khurda Road division of East Coast Railway, with completion expected in 1,095 days from the appointed date. The contract is valued at ₹409.94 crore excluding GST and is classified as bridge works for Railways. The company confirmed there is no interest of its promoter, promoter group or group companies in the entity awarding the contract, and the order does not constitute a related-party transaction.
Following this latest contract, GPT Infraprojects' outstanding order book now stands at ₹4,992 crore, as reported by the company. The infrastructure major has achieved a total order inflow of ₹818 crore for fiscal year 2027, demonstrating strong business momentum. This marks the second order from RVNL in September 2026, with the company having secured another ₹484 crore order earlier in the month for Bridge 544 construction. The company confirmed there is no interest of its promoter, promoter group or group companies in the entity awarding the contract, and the order does not fall under related party transactions. The fresh order adds to GPT Infraprojects' railway infrastructure portfolio and comes as the company continues to secure projects in the transportation and infrastructure segment.
