
Godrej Properties Ltd. achieved exceptional sales performance at the launch of its residential project Godrej Vanantara in Bengaluru, selling homes worth more than ₹2,000 crore during the launch week. According to reports from Business Standard, the Mumbai-based developer sold over 1,000 homes with a total area exceeding 1.8 million square feet during the launch period. The project, located off Bannerghatta Road in South Bengaluru, was launched in the first week of June 2026 and has emerged as one of the most successful launches in the South Bengaluru micro-market. Following the announcement, Godrej Properties shares gained 0.99% to ₹1,666.95, reflecting positive market response to the strong sales performance.
The Godrej Vanantara project spans 36 acres and features comprehensive amenities including a 65,000-square-foot clubhouse, landscaped open spaces, and more than 50 lifestyle amenities. As reported by Business Standard, the project represents one of the company's largest residential developments in South India, with a developable potential of around 3.53 million square feet and an estimated revenue potential of nearly ₹3,700 crore. The development is defined by open spaces, landscaped greens, low-density planning, and is designed to deliver a distinctive, high-quality living experience in one of Bengaluru's key growth corridors.
Gaurav Pandey, Managing Director and CEO of Godrej Properties, attributed the strong response to evolving customer priorities towards better-designed homes and enhanced liveability. According to Business Standard, Pandey stated that the response to Godrej Vanantara reflects a clear evolution in customer priorities in South Bengaluru towards homes that deliver better design, liveability, and everyday experience. The company claims to be India's largest residential developer by both value and volume of homes sold, with more than 100,000 families having purchased homes from the company.
The project's success is attributed to Bannerghatta Road's emergence as a key residential corridor in Bengaluru, supported by upcoming metro connectivity, proximity to employment hubs, and increasing demand for integrated residential developments. As reported by Business Standard, Bannerghatta Road is fast emerging as a high-potential residential corridor in South Bengaluru, driven by upcoming metro access, proximity to key employment hubs, and increasing preference for well-planned communities that offer a balance of urban convenience and natural surroundings. According to real estate platform Housing.com, the average property price in the area stood at ₹15,782 per square foot in June 2026, up 23.48% year-on-year.
The strong project performance comes alongside robust company-wide financial results, with Godrej Properties reporting a consolidated net profit of ₹649.88 crore in Q4 FY26, representing a 70.13% increase over Q4 FY25. According to Business Standard, the company's total income grew 41.98% to ₹3,806.65 crore in Q4 FY26 compared to the previous year. The company also retained its position as India's largest residential developer by booking value for the third consecutive financial year in FY26, with booking value growing 16% year-on-year and achieving a three-year compound annual growth rate of 41% to ₹34,171 crore. The company delivered its highest-ever business development, bookings, collections and operating cash flow in FY26.
