As reported by Business Standard, Godrej Investment Ltd has a total paid-up share capital of ₹42.10 lakh as of the disclosure date and reported consolidated income of ₹2,477.72 crore for the period from January 5, 2026 to March 31, 2026. The transaction falls under the overall shareholder-approved limit under Section 186 of the Companies Act, 2013, and has been executed in cash consideration terms. This represents a related party deal between the parent company and its subsidiary.
According to Business Standard, Godrej Industries reported a sharp year-on-year jump in consolidated net profit for the fourth quarter at ₹444.28 crore, up 142.67% from the previous year. Revenue for the quarter grew 33.12% year-on-year to ₹7,693.72 crore compared with the corresponding period last year. The strong performance demonstrates the company's robust operational efficiency and market positioning across its diversified business segments.
As reported by Business Standard, home care sales increased 12%, supported by strong growth in household insecticides, continued momentum in electrical products and double-digit growth in air fresheners. Fabric care also maintained double-digit growth. Personal care grew 3%, with steady performance in skin cleansing, soaps, hair colour, perfumes and deodorants. In the chemicals business, revenue rose 16% year-on-year in Q4FY26 and 22% for FY26, with sales volume growing 9% during FY26 and exports accounting for around 28% of revenue. Exports increased 10% year-on-year in Q4FY26 and 19% in FY26.
