GHV Infra Projects Ltd has secured a significant construction contract worth ₹815 crore from APCO Infratech Private Ltd for road construction and civil works in Maharashtra. According to reports from CNBC TV18, the contract is an EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) agreement for the execution of road construction work and allied civil works in the state. The total consideration for the project is ₹815 crore, excluding taxes, with a construction period of 30 months.
The contract has been awarded by APCO Infratech Private Ltd, a domestic entity, and falls under an EPC arrangement as per the company disclosure. As reported by CNBC TV18, the promoter or promoter group and group companies do not have any interest in the entity awarding the contract, and the transaction does not fall under related party transactions. The contract covers road construction work and miscellaneous civil works in Maharashtra.
This latest award follows GHV Infra's receipt of ₹216 crore worth of work orders last week from GHV (India) Private Limited for infrastructure development works. According to regulatory filings reported by CNBC TV18, the company received a work order valued at approximately ₹111 crore for construction of various infrastructural development works for the expansion of the car shed at Sanpada, and another work order valued at approximately ₹105 crore for similar works at Kalwa. Both contracts are required to be completed within 24 months from the date of commencement.
Despite securing the major contract, GHV Infra Projects Ltd shares ended at ₹315.00, down by ₹5.00, or 1.56%, on the BSE. As reported by CNBC TV18, the stock performance reflects market dynamics independent of the contract announcement.
