GHV Infra Projects Ltd has secured a significant railway infrastructure contract worth ₹213 crore from GHV (India) Private Ltd for comprehensive civil, electrical, mechanical and signal & telecom works across railway infrastructure projects in West Bengal. The projects include the upgradation and development of maintenance infrastructure at a coaching complex, next-generation freight maintenance facilities, and the infrastructure construction of a loco shed in West Bengal. According to latest reports, the work order covers composite works involving civil, electrical, mechanical and signal & telecom segments and is valued at approximately ₹213 crore including GST. The contract involves three major tasks: upgradation of maintenance infrastructure at a coaching complex, construction of next-generation freight maintenance facilities to improve railway freight operations, and infrastructure development for a loco shed in West Bengal.
The railway infrastructure projects are scheduled for completion within 14 months from the date of commencement, as reported by CNBC TV18. The company noted that the transaction is a related party transaction and is being carried out on an arm's length basis. The order has been awarded by a domestic entity, with GHV (India) Private Limited serving as the awarding entity for the contract. A time-bound execution plan suggests the company is preparing for speedy delivery of the project, with facilities expected to improve railway maintenance efficiency and strengthen freight movement infrastructure.
