The Board of Directors approved this appointment at their meeting held on 18 September 2026, with the new role becoming effective from the same date. As per the latest BSE filing, the appointment is subject to approval of members of Avante Spaces Limited.
As reported by Business Standard, Verghese's appointment is scheduled to continue until 19 May 2030, representing a 4.5-year term. This appointment represents an additional responsibility for Verghese, who has been serving as the Managing Director of Kirloskar Industries since 20 May 2025. Verghese joined the Kirloskar Group in April 2021 as Vice President – Group HR, subsequently serving as CHRO and Chief of Staff at Kirloskar Oil Engines Limited.
